We Have Changed!

    There have been a number of changes in the way that your organization, MAPA, has changed over the last several months. Dedicated, members of the Board of Directors and Standing Committees have improved the way that we communicate with each other, and administer the business aspect of our organization.

    Starting with MAPA's main public web site, at www.mnacadpa.org , we have changed from third party editing of our pages on donated web server space,  to active publication directly to our own web server space, leased from a local company. Together with a change in our administrative services, now provided by the Harrington Company of St. Paul, Minnesota, MAPA is now in a position to be more responsive to the needs of our members.

    Since 1999 we have utilized an intranet site at http://mapa.webexone.com/, for sharing information among the board members. This has been very helpful with distributing board reports prior to meetings, posting minutes of meetings afterwards, sharing documents, providing forms and templates as well as calendar functions, reminders and announcements.

 

MAPA Strategic Planning 2002-2003

 

The Board of Directors and the Committees that support the board will be donating their Friday night and all day Saturday, February 11 and 12 to volunteer to attend a strategic planning session. This will be conducted by Mike Felmlee from the Prouty Project to formulate a plan for our academy for the 2002-2003 fiscal year.
