The Board of Directors met on Saturday December 14 to once again participate in an ongoing project for improvement. The theme of the morning session was "From Good to Great." This was led by Mike Felmlee from the Prouty Project. He used a book written by Jack Collins of the same title to bring our Board along a little further at providing you with the best organization that we can!
This next year should bring some changes with increased student involvement at the committee level, increased participation on the board by new members, and an ever expanding membership base, which currently exceeds 460 members.
Our board will meet again at the end of January, for a two day Strategic Planning session, to further define our goals for the upcoming year. This will take place at the Riverwood Inn and Conference Center in Monticello, Minnesota. I would encourage you to contact your board members with your thoughts and ideas on how to move our organization from "Good to Great!"
Please have a safe and happy holiday season, from your Board of Directors.
