Providence is calling Physician Assistants.

We have hired another provider and are seeking a Physician Assistant to assist the physician in providing patient care and assisting in neurological surgery.

Position Specifics
This position is located at Providence Neurosurgery in Olympia, Washington. This is a full time (1.0), benefited position. Relocation Assistance is available.

REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduation from an accredited Physician’s Assistant training program or a certified Nursing Practitioner program.
Licenses/Certifications: Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician’s Assistants. CPR Certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification are required.
Experience: Preferred: Physician Assistant experience as First Assist in surgery.

Knowledge/Skill/Ability: Knowledge of methods and principles of general medicine, methods of diagnosing and treating medical disorders. Ability to examine, diagnose and recommend treatment of physical diseases and deficiencies; interpret laboratory analyses and diagnostic images. Ability to prepare comprehensive case histories. Ability to assist in surgery.
