Clinical faculty member for the Augsburg College Physician Assistant Department

Augsburg College invites applications for a full-time, 12-month position as a clinical faculty member of the Physician Assistant Program in Minneapolis, MN, to start April 1, 2010. Augsburg’s program is a 3-year Master of Science in PA studies program. This position has responsibility for development and maintenance of clinical sites for the Augsburg PA students. This includes development of course descriptions, learning objectives and required evaluation activities for clinical phase students, student advising and frequent travel to clinical sites.

Qualifications for the position include Master’s degree in PA studies or equivalent, PA certification, excellent interpersonal skills, interest in, and knowledge of, educational activities necessary for the acquisition and maintenance of current standard of care required for optimal patient care. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Application deadline: March 1, 2010, however position is open until filled.
