We are seeking a BE/BC Physician Assistant to join our Mayo Clinic owned regional medical center. The ISJ-Mayo Health System; comprised of 17 clinics and four hospitals in a 12 county area of southern Minnesota. Open positions: 1. Urgent Care: No Call. 1:4 weekend rotation: Weekday hours noon-9 p.m., weekend 8-5 p.m. Experience required. 2. Behavioral Health: Perform and document health/illness assessment of patients, interpret findings, plan, diagnose, and treat with age specific, culturally/developmentally appropriate interventions in Inpatient and Ambulatory care setting. Participate and assist in development of prevention strategies and health promotion educational programs across the continuum of care. 3. Family Medicine Clinic: Job responsibilities: Anti-coagulation Clinic, Occupation Medicine patients, some same day "acute care" / Urgent Care patients. Monday-Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. No call. Experience preferred. 4. General Surgery: The successful candidate will see return visit patients, complete H&P's and assist with hospital rounding, 1st assist in OR. Monday-Friday, Call 1:4. 5. Internal Medicine Hospitalist: Job responsibilities: in-patient rounding and working with Hospitalist physician. Monday-Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. No call. Experience preferred Education: * Masters Degree. Completion of Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ABCS) within one year of hire date preferred. Benefits: Employed position.
