MAPA offers First Year Student Scholarships
MAPA is proud to be able to offer fist year student scholarships to aid in the high cost of education. We recognize the difficulties in paying for your PA studies while trying to prepare for your career, and we would like to help as much as we can. Over the past several years, MAPA has given away up to $4500/year in scholarships to PA students in their first year of a PA program.
The criteria for application for a MAPA scholarship are:
1) Must be a MAPA member
2) Current student in their first year in a PA Program
There are two types of scholarships available. One is based on merit and the other is based on financial need. You may apply for either or both scholarships. Applications are now available. The deadline is Friday, March 2nd, 2012.
A representative of the Scholarship Committee will be visiting or contacting Minnesota and Wisconsin PA Programs in late January. Check back next year for information on the 2011 MAPA Scholarships
